Geocaching Adventure from Kuala Lumpur

WHAT IS GEOCACHING?

Geocaching is an exciting high-tech version of treasure hunting. Geocachers seek out hidden treasures utilizing GPS coordinates posted on the Internet by those hiding the cache. Using a GPS, you then trek out into the backwoods or urban jungles to find the hiding spot of the cache. Once found, a cache may provide you with a wide variety of rewards. If you take something out of the cache, you are asked to leave something in return. For some, the biggest reward is the thrill of the search and the discovery of a place that they have never been.

GEOCACHING IN MALAYSIA

There are many hidden geocaches in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, and other cities, islands and popular holiday destinations. So there are plenty of opportunities of enjoying the beautiful Malaysian outdoors and seeing some scenic places in the country in a totally enjoyable and immersive way.

WHY COME WITH US

We are avid Geocachers ourselves. So when you join us, you can travel further on your geocaching hunts, attempt more geocaches and you will not be restricted to city caches only!

OUR GEOCACHING PROGRAM

In the morning, we will pick you from a predetermined location in Kuala Lumpur (eg. your hotel). Then a short briefing will be done to familiarize you with the use of the GPS. We go over some geocaching locations with you to decide on which to attempt. There are several choices in Kuala Lumpur. We will drive to the location by car. Once near the location, we will begin the hunt on foot. Once you locate you find, log your find in the log book. You can take a souvenir left in the geocache and leave something of your own. (Later, you will log again your find on the Geocaching website on the internet).Upon completion of the find, we will find a suitable location to relax and start our Barbeque Lunch. There are plenty of locations in Kuala Lumpur for a nice picnic. You will have a choice of chicken or beef and a sumptous spread of salad. Yum! After packing up we will proceed to attempt another geocache located outside of Kuala Lumpur. You will go through interesting and quaint villages and towns. There will be plenty of photo opportunities and the chance to mingle with local folks. Once nearing the geocache, we will proceed on the find.Later in the afternoon (time permitting) we can stop for Roti Canai with curry and Teh Tarik (Hot Tea with Milk) which are local favourites before we head back to your hotel or drop-off point.

THINGS TO BRING/WEAR

  • Wear comfortable sneakers/sandals
  • Wear comfortable attire for the hot weather

We like this hotel because it’s new, great rooms, you can walk over to the KLCC for shopping and food and Petronas Twin Towers.

Our program will demonstrate that when you come from a place of play, from a place of willing enjoyment you are more efficient and more productive! You can expect an interactive teambuilding event that will energize and empower a group of professionals as well as promote a deeper sense of camaraderie.

We will drum, sing dance and smile together as we explore the power of teamwork and community within your place of business. We will bring a drum or hand held percussion instrument for everyone and facilitate a cohesive musical experience. All events are tailored to your specifications including buzzwords and themes from your organization.

We will use drumming as the vehicle for creating connections in the workplace. We will also show the correlation between the need for respect, commitment, endurance and concentration as well as the need to let go and truly be in the moment.
